Rincon De Guadalupe

Mogor-Badan

Chasselas del Mogor 2023

Light, crisp and clean in its own, some body to it, picked up the spice of a mole mussel bite, with increased salinity and flavor to the finish. — a month ago

Talley Vineyards

Rincon Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Bright Ruby Red. Black cherry, plum, and anise aromas with stewed fruits and a bit of tartness on the bud. Smooth with a nice finish. — 7 months ago

Monte Xanic

Valle de Guadalupe Chenin Colombard 2022

Had the 2022 in January of 2024 with chicken tinga. What a nice little wine. Minerality and a touch of citrus with some floral on the nose. Hints of lime on the tongue and a hint of hibiscus on the nose. This was a lot like a New Zealand sauv blanc but with a softer punch. Enjoyed this and wondering about going through the hassle of obtaining this one again. Definitely would if it was easier to get. — a year ago

Very good blend. Frankly did not expect too much from it but I am pleasantly impressed. — a month ago

Bodegas y Viñedos Las Nubes

Selección de Barricas Red Blend 2020

I do find the unusual blends in Mexican wines fascinating. Touch of oxidative and balsamic notes on the nose, luscious purple/black fruit in advance on the plate, firm acidity, very soft tannins to finish. #valledeguadalupe — 6 months ago
