This is a delicious Tempranillo from Sonoma Valley. Big and bold. Rich and very fruity.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Showing blackberries, black currants, coffee, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolate, mocha, peppercorn, leather and sweet tobacco.
Showing nice complexity with some RS.
Still young and very fruity, so a few more years in the bottle would be a good idea.
Better after 3 hours of airtime, so be patient.
I had it all by itself by the lake.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

This is a delicious 12 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Shows great complexity at this point.
Rich, yet elegant. Fruit forward and smooth. A gorgeous wine.
Showing a beautiful nose with so much complexity. I love it.
I had it 3 years ago, and it is drinking even better now.
I did not decant it this time, and let it open up in the bottle. Good right out of the bottle, but so much better after 2 hours of airtime.
Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
A great sipping wine. I had it all by itself, but will also pair nicely with a nice piece of steak.

Dessert in a bottle. Not too sweet, but just a nice sweet finish to a meal. — 4 years ago
Excellent wine - from Vanessa Robledo’s family winery — 5 years ago
For CA Riesling, I like this the best so far.
Body reflects volcanic soil influence, acidity hides sugar though I keep hitting my glass like a hummingbird while wine is halbtroken. Best lightly chilled, Pear & lime notes. — 4 years ago
Time for a good Cabernet on this #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing much.

Full bodied, soft and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blueberries, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, light vinaigrette, diet coke, graphite and peppercorn.
Long finish with tangy cherries and fine grained tannins.
This is a delicious Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from the great 2012 vintage. Nicely balanced with lots of cedar notes. This 8 year old is showing very nicely, now with nice complexity and a great mouth feel.
A nice wine to have all by itself, but good with food too. I really enjoyed the nose on this one. Just wonderful.
Needs an hour to open up, but definitely good right out of the bottle.
Would be nice to try this again in 5 years, as it has the potential to be even better.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Delicious.
