Romeo & Juliet

Beau Vigne

Juliet Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2006 Juliet pours a deep garnet/purple with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated dark fruits: cassis, blackberries, plums, tobacco, leather, mixed dead flowers, old wood, organic earth and fine warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin (integrated) and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with an attractive, plush texture. This is in a really good spot and fully mature. Drink now through 2031. — 22 days ago

Famiglia Pasqua

'Romeo & Juliet' Passion e Sentimento Bianco Veneto Garganega 2020

This beauty offers up notes of peach, pear, and spiced citrus, balanced by a flinty minerality. Very enjoyable. Made from partially dried grapes. 100% Garganega. 11/5/22. — 3 years ago

Pearmund Cellars

Mount Juliet Vineyard Malbec 2010

This was very well grown (Crozet) and produced (by Chris)- this was delicious and while it didn’t mimic Argentinian Malbec, it did offer varietal difference than CF or CS… I really let this run until I had the right meal to pair it with… 14.5 years is a long time, but it stood the test of time so a big high five — 2 months ago
