Kosta Browne

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2021

2021 vintage. Pleasant throughout and hit plenty of notes without screeching. The KB style has changed in the last few years. Gone are the mega-extracted pinots altho those are still around and holding up in the cellars/secondary market. Those older wines were a 10 on the volume scale. The last few vintages are closer to a 5. That said, this should hold up and develop nicely for a decade+ without issues. Those that don't think you can drink CA pinot noir over 4-5 years old are in for quite the surprise with quality producers. 04.18.25. — 3 days ago

Full-bodied and delicious! While there’s a little alcohol at the finish, this is wonderful. — 8 days ago

Patz & Hall

Dutton Ranch Chardonnay 2020

Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and nutty scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A beautiful Chardonnay. — 8 days ago

Allen Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

Winner of the night. Yes 14.1% but still good. Plumy nose. Tannins fully resolved. Drink!!! Up. Lime, spices, Hint blueberry, violets. Touch cherry 🍒. Quite amazing. Who would have thought. Because typically i prefer Burghs. — 2 months ago

Hanna

Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2023

This 100% Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Slusser Road Vineyard in the heart of the Russian River Valley, Sonoma known mostly for great Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.
However; Hanna winery is fully committed to terroir and advocacy to the farm to table movement as a signature of the Sonoma lifestyle.
Beautiful crispy Sauv Blanc aged in stainless on lees, which opens your olfactory senses to perceive its citrusy, zesty lime, some wet-grassy notes and acacia flowers.
The palate welcomes a rather lighted-body with zero tension and touch of salinity by the mid-rage of the palate with short but refreshing finish. A patio companion in summer!
