2018 vintage. For his fun "Goutte du Seigneur" label Bernard Duseigneur buys organic grapes (his own vineyards are biodynamically farmed). This is a Grenache - Syrah blend and it's absolutely delicious even if a bit more bottle age is recommended. Smells like freshly crushed black cherries and flowers. Gorgeous bright cherries, fresh acidity and a nice ripe tannic bite. Very serious wine for the price. — 5 years ago

Internet info,
Located in the Entre-deux-Mers region (in Saint-Loubès), the Château Reignac was built in the 16th century by Seigneur Baude de Peyron. Since 1990, it has been owned by Yves and Stéphanie Vatelot who elevated it, within a few years, to being one of the best domaines in Bordeaux with the help of the consultant oenologist Michel Rolland. The vineyard extends over 80ha in one piece; it is planted mostly with Merlot, but also Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and, over 2 ha, Sauvignon and Sémillon. In a few years this domaine could impose its style and show the full potential of its appellation. It is now recognised as one of the jewels of the region, able to rival the renowned crus of Bordeaux.
