Unbelievable!!! A Cabernet that only can express it selves like this in Barossa Valley. Basically a Shiraz “wanna be”. So expressive, so rich, but fresh and focused grounded by a solid vibrant, mineral backbone. There are warm, Mediterranean spices filtering through this fresh dark fruit. A cab in a category by its own. — 2 years ago
Another great Shiraz from Two Hands, powerful but smooth with plenty of fruit and depth. Big wine but plenty of layers and delicate floral and spice notes complement the rich black fruit. I served it a little too cold to start with which definitely suppressed the flavour but it was great to see it come to life as it warmed up. — 6 years ago

Opened this in early January and having the occasional night cap finished it 2 nights ago. Notes of dried fruit, spice, nuts and burnt flavours. This port fills every corner of your mouth - unctuous. Seppeltsfield have this amazing tradition of releasing a 100 year old Port every year. The 1919 will be released later this year. — 7 years ago

This GSM from a boutique producer in the western Barossa near Seppeltsfield, is a blend of 45% Grenache, 35% Shiraz and 20% Mourvèdre. The Grenache is most prominent with its lush raspberry aroma and flavours, the Shiraz providing structure and the Mataro with its plummy tarry notes. This wine was a Trophy winner at the Toowoomba Wine Show a few years ago. — 6 years ago
