Big cherry nose. More cherry on the palate with tart raspberry, pomegranate, and oak. Some tertiary fruit notes at this stage for this 2015, so drink now. Medium alcohol, medium body, medium minus tannins, high acid, medium plus finish. — 4 months ago
Similar to a cab sauv — strong aroma but not too strong on the palette. Not oaky which is great! Dad likes this one a lot. — 11 days ago
👍👍 Consistently amazing cab. Absolutely delicious, fruit-forward, balanced tannins, perfection on the palate. I could drink this one anytime, anywhere. No complaints. — a month ago

Cherry, raspberry preserves, blackberry, currant, vanilla and oak. Full-bodied and moderate tannins.

The palate sings plum and blueberry. But the finish is restrained unlike other Tobin wines. Medium dry finish and tannins. — 3 months ago
2004 Silver reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. I had this in my wine cellar. The upper part of cork disintegrated. The cork had 1/4” that was intact. Absolutely delicious. I am so glad it wasn’t ruined. Full body California Cabernet. It still had texture. It still has tannins. I bet this could go another 5 years. — 5 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend 95% Cabernet Sauv, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Merlot, splash Malbec and Petit Verdot, blended before being aged 24 months in American Oak, 50/50 new and second used. Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, spice and hints of cedar. On the palate flavors of blackberry, raspberry and currants with licorice, cacao, vanilla and savory herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and savory mineral character. Nice!
