Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, spice and hints of cedar. On the palate flavors of blackberry, raspberry and currants with licorice, cacao, vanilla and savory herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and savory mineral character. Nice!

Big cherry nose. More cherry on the palate with tart raspberry, pomegranate, and oak. Some tertiary fruit notes at this stage for this 2015, so drink now. Medium alcohol, medium body, medium minus tannins, high acid, medium plus finish. — 4 months ago

2004 Silver reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. I had this in my wine cellar. The upper part of cork disintegrated. The cork had 1/4” that was intact. Absolutely delicious. I am so glad it wasn’t ruined. Full body California Cabernet. It still had texture. It still has tannins. I bet this could go another 5 years. — 5 months ago
