Heavy, rich tannery, leather, cigar smoke, hot cinnamon. Plums.
Woah, reminds me why I love this region. Not the most rounded Vacqueyras I’ve had, but definitely got the smokey, rich, spicy, full body notes I love, paired with an incredibly silky mouthfeel.
Intense fruits of blackberry, raspberry, plums. Moderate to high acidity works well here with the intense jams. — 5 years ago
Blessed to celebrate 20 years of blissful marriage and 30 years total of togetherness, and she still takes my breath away daily. God definitely pulled all my ribs to create the muse who is my wife. Forever in love. Can’t wait to see how the next 20 unfolds. Oh yeah, ofcourse we are celebrating with our fav wine...never disappoints — 5 years ago
I’ve had both La Muse and La Joie so I was happy to get to try Le Désir. I think I like this cab franc dominated blend the best. The nose is floral with green fresh notes. On the palate it’s rich, full bodied with a luxurious velvety texture. Dark fruit, bell pepper, spices, licorice with powdery tannins that starts to melt into the wine completely. Starting to hit its peak. — 2 years ago
