Almost black colored. Just a quick decant and lovely ripe black and blue fruit forward, camphor, tobacco, licorice. Grippy yet rounded tannins, incredible mouthfeel, with a nice long finish. Incredible wine, absolutely loved it and can’t wait to see how it evolves over the coming years! — 2 months ago

Nose of camphor and graphite ahead of an insanely structured and primary Sloan. Espresso and blackcurrant, blackberry and fresh earth. Took 2 hours to come out from cellar temp, but boy what a show. This has 20+ years ahead. Phenomenal. — a month ago
