[68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Syrah, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6.5% Merlot, 6% Malbec, 2% Pinot Noir, 1.5% Tannat, with splashes of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera.] Fascinating blend in this Cabernet-based wine from the l’Herault area of southern France, according to online ratings, the drinking window for this 36-year-old wine expires this year, but it’s super fresh, with great acidity, and well-stored bottles should continue to age gracefully, still shows solid structure and some good tannins, super layered and complex, very long, lingering finish, great juice!! — 8 months ago
Great as always. A seductive perfume of white lily and jasmine flowers waft from the glass, and there is exquisite balance on the palate, with a bit of Viognier/Chenin “gras” paired with wet rocks, a refreshing tartness and almost phenolic spice on the finish. — 4 years ago
Tempting pear, orange and tarragon aromas. Evocative of walking past drying hay on a warm day. Rich almond and pear in the mouth, enough acidity and a lingering finish. I'm matching it with some trout which should work. — 4 years ago
Great balance. Paired with Steak Diane. Delicious m. — 5 years ago
Covid-19 wine time. So delicious we felt like we should have saved it for a more special occasion! — 6 years ago
Lovely rich white wine. Tropical fruit mix brings out that Summer feeling. Very refreshing. Apricot and peach to start, citrus in the middle, passion fruit and acid to finish. — 23 days ago
Trying the Mas de Daumas Gassac lineup. Aside from their flagship Languedoc red this might be my fav. It’s rose sparkling with incredibly bright strawberry notes and deep acidity. Light lees flavour. The hefty body and full mousse really make it stand out. Wow. — 5 months ago
This wine is golden colored in the glass. The nose is loaded with fruit. I find peach, pear, apple, and mango in the aroma profile, along with a hint of minerality and citrus. The palate is refreshingly acidic and shows apple, pear, lemon and lime flavors. I paired it with a ham and provolone sandwich and was glad I did. If you have some shrimp or crab that’s not doing anything, that should work even better. — a year ago

Strawberry and peach. Super simple but nice with a pizza on a hot day. — 5 years ago
A lot going on in this bargain prices wine. Medium intensity. Lots of red fruit with. Bramble tinge showing at the finish. Might want to check in on this one in a few years. — 6 years ago

Still has a lot of life
Internet info,
Located in the Entre-deux-Mers region (in Saint-Loubès), the Château Reignac was built in the 16th century by Seigneur Baude de Peyron. Since 1990, it has been owned by Yves and Stéphanie Vatelot who elevated it, within a few years, to being one of the best domaines in Bordeaux with the help of the consultant oenologist Michel Rolland. The vineyard extends over 80ha in one piece; it is planted mostly with Merlot, but also Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and, over 2 ha, Sauvignon and Sémillon. In a few years this domaine could impose its style and show the full potential of its appellation. It is now recognised as one of the jewels of the region, able to rival the renowned crus of Bordeaux.
About the cuvée
This grand vin is two-thirds Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Harvested from vines around 40 years old, it is aged in barrels for up to 19 months. — 4 years ago
This is the Mas de Daumas Gassac White Blend. Delectable needs to merge this database as there are multiple names for the same wines. Used to work for Delectable in the early days and spent a lot of hours merging multiple entries for the same wine.
Very interesting white blend: Viognier, Chardonnay, Chenin and multiple other white varietals. As expected, it had weight and body. A little like Condrieu meets White Chateneuf. Thoroughly enjoyed it. — 5 years ago

What a wine! The nose is so complex with blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry, dark cherries, tar, oak, mushrooms, autumn damp forest soil, tobacco, cigar box... this is great. The palate is superb! Big, broad and long, with some width, some matter on the sides, some nice black and red berries all along, a touch of oak, a silky mouthfeel that rolls on the tongue, integrated tannins that caress and hug in the rear, and a very long finish with the same berries, a subtle drying layer, some oaky touches, a savoury note and eventually some bitterness that pops up in the very end. This is 16 year-old and kicking. This is grand !
I should add that I had a glass of this using my coravin a few months back and the wine wasn't showing as well as it does now. — a month ago
