Ridge Zinfandel blends always age well. This was no different. Tasted this blind and no one called Zinfandel. That’s how different they become with this kind of age. That Zinfandel jamminess fades and complexity rises.

Medium lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and lemon citrus, oak and vanilla, smooth with a crisp texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with citrus fruit and sweet savory mineral character. — 3 years ago
An excellent Pinot! — 5 months ago
Crushed red and blue fruit, earthy, berry compote finish. — 7 months ago
This is great. Huge fruit, jam with tannin, some dirt in a great way, there’s a nice vegetable/herbal component that is wonderful. Overall restrained in a huge way if that makes sense. Well done! Also better on night 2. — 4 years ago
Notes from May 2023 still apply. Voluptuous is the word. No less than 4 Trophies on the Australian Show Circuit from perhaps the most southerly vineyard in Australia in the Huon Valley. Rich, mouth filling and delicious. This is the regular Estate bottling - the Reserve is even more impressive. — 4 months ago
