Palate: very clean. Mountain stream. Mineral. — 3 months ago
This is in an interesting place. It’s still very fresh with lemon and fresh grass/hay, but more brioche and ripe apples than I usually expect. Lemon curd and stones, maybe some nectarine in there. Good amount of creaminess and heading towards baked pear/apple territory. Fascinating. Not as good as the donkey and goat chard I recently had, but this reminds me of Chablis meets champagne blanc de blanc. — 17 days ago
Stone fruit aroma, lemon zest flavor, medium body, rich mouthfeel, paired beautifully with a slightly charred cod dish. — 2 months ago
Deep ruby with lighter rim and lovely floral and spiced nose.
Tannins are silky smooth and well integrated.
Dark fruits on palate with balance of alcohol and acidity, AbV at 13% much lower than typical Oz Shiraz @14.5%
At 8 years this is likely at its optimal drinking age
Excellent Syrah from NZ. — 3 months ago
Complex SB from NZ. Cucumber veggie notes with minerality such as flint etc — 8 days ago
This wine is of exceptional quality. While it may have been slightly premature to consume (released in 2021), it exhibited pronounced tannic characteristics. — 11 days ago

This wine is a near perfect intersection of a restrained Sancerre and a boldly generous NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Medium lemon in color with grapefruit, green apple and grassy notes front and center. If this is representative of single vineyard NZ SBs I will definitely revisit this category in the future. — 2 days ago
