The 2014 La Mission Haut-Brion offers bright and vivid scents that immediately captivate the olfactory scenes: black fruit, cedar, pencil box and light, minty aromas. It's much better than its First Growth neighbor. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, very harmonious, and has lovely depth with a gentle grip. This is a sophisticated and entrancing 2014, one of my favorites in Bordeaux. Highly recommended. Tasted blind at the Southwold 10-Year-On tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, March 2024)

One of my all time favorites - visited here years ago.
Nice fruit flavor, smooth and very light tannins. Enjoyed with grilled/smoked beef tenderloin and salmon for New Years day dinner with family. A lovely gift from my neighbor a few years back for helping her out. Its nice to have good neighbors! — 2 years ago
Light Chardonnay- would buy again. — 4 months ago
Wine dinner with big group including Butch neighbor Art, Philip and Bewan. Pino brought it for himself, given the Cab lineup. Another of his lively dare I say relatively light on its feet Amarone. Balanced profile, actually a good food wine. — 8 months ago
Currant, blackberry, smoky deliciousness. — 2 months ago

A gift from a neighbor, this is a friendly and open red. Medium intensity nose shows red fruit (even a little strawberry), cigar box, and sandstone. Broad and flowing in the mouth. Tobacco leaf, plummy fruit, iodine. Ends on a lengthy savory note (the 20% Syrah signature?). — 2 years ago

Zach brought it over, had been saving for a special occasion and decided it was the day. Yum! — a month ago
