Pale lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and with floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of peaches and pineapple with citrus zest and hints of chalky notes. Well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice. Pair this with some sushi. — 3 months ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary aromas of hibiscus, black tea, and raspberries; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of dried strawberries, candied cherries, and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is intense and well balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 2 months ago

Coconut, Banana, White flowers on the nose. (With air, lots of herbs),A faint touch of the mineral quality that follows through on the finish of the palate. Said palate is less floral and more linear, mineral, especially after some airing in the glass. The bitterness that feels mineral is a nice contrast to perceived fruit, as it adds an interesting aftertaste. Viura, Grenache Blanc, and Tempranillo Blanco. Interesting blend.
I’ve had Tempranillo Blanco as a standalone, but only as of ‘25,in San Sebastián where in one Pintxo bar, it worked quite well with parts of their menu.
This winery is a wife & husband team who, from what I gather, hope to bring some “traditional” Riojan winemaking style to modern production.
I’m looking forward to trying their offerings beyond entry level.

A blend of Cariñena, Grenache and Syrah.
On the nose cherry, black fruits, vanilla, touch of cedar, medium bodied palate with blackberry, earthy notes, fine acidity and balance. And an urban legend : every year wine inexplicably vanished from the barrels, the monks who made the wines believed the angels having their part of the wine 😇 — 3 months ago
