Bright ruby red color with a moderate transparency. The nose reveals fresh and fruity aromas of berries with very clean and pleasing aromas that starts with hints of cherry, currant and strawberry followed by scents of rose and violet. In the mouth the taste is fresh and dry, denoting a wine with a light but interesting body. — 2 months ago
Pretty light, great acids, light tannins. Smooth drinking. Lots of cherry, mineral, touch of graphite. All the goodness of high-altitude Valtellina. Translucent ruby, not the brick color nor the tar you’d expect for a Nebbiolo but great. From Main Street Wine & Gourmet, Orleans. 07/01/24 — 5 months ago
Super cherry nose that is so expressive. Loads of spice, tobacco and flowers. Watermelon and cranberry. So expressive. Unreal clarity and freshness. So so pure and juicy. A whisper of tannin and outrageous cherry fruit purity. This is brilliant. Let’s see where air takes this. As it aired out the nose became more expansive. — 19 days ago
Light ruby red , wide light pink rim . On the nose quite floral and aromatic , with spicy red pepper , rose and raspberry notes . On the palate juicy red fruits , strawberry , raspberry and some fresh thyme and sage . Fresh acidity and light, slightly chalky tannins . Medium length , with herbal and red fruit touches . This is drinking well now, and will be best over the next 2-3 years whilst the fruit remains fresh and vibrant . A good , though quite simple , entry level wine from this producer . — 2 months ago

dried berries, hint of mushroom, alpine freshness. Wait 30 min and woohoo — 14 days ago
Delicious with hints of pepper and earthy tones, with a touch of fruit on the finish. — a month ago
Light but powerful, I think it has room to grow. — 2 months ago
Senses immediately overloaded, in a good way, with a bouquet of lavender tea, smoked cherrywood, tobacco, cedar, vanilla, and as someone here astutely observed, Alpine herbs. Buried underneath that is wild mushroom, wild raspberries, and cherries. Lasting nice finish, though a bit heavy on the alcohol compared to its southern nebbiolo cousins, but given the sforzato Amarone-like production process, this makes senses. One of the finest reds I've had in some time, certainly on par or better than the other nebbiolo I've tasted.
Better yet, I scored this for a steal of a price at a local Total Wine who either thought this was too old or didn't know what they had. — 5 months ago

Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 19 days ago
