Went to buy a wake surf board. The store didn’t have any but a wine shop was near by. Saw a TikTok about this and had to try. Still way too young. Has some of the green pepper but wow. Smooth tannins and gorgeous dark fruit. Hints of black licorice. Had a big ribeye so very happy now. — 21 days ago

Medium ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, cassis, licorice, and vanilla. Plus body, plus acid, plus tannins. Exquisitely smooth and integrated on the palate, with soft, grainy tannins. Even a hint of banana on the palate. Long finish. Drinking well now but well worth cellaring. 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot. — 12 days ago
