Absolutely beautiful. Light, softly sweet. Pineapple and lychee. — a month ago
Medium light ruby , garnet wide light garnet rim . On opening this was very fruit forward , strawberry, orange rind, raspberry and with some floral, liquorice and spice hints . On the palate again fruit forward , sweet strawberry , raspberry and some red cherry . Just balanced alcohol with fresh acidity . Tannins were quite rounded and sweet , it seemed to lack a little structure . Coming back to this a day later there is much more tannin which is ripe but gritty and more structure noticable . Bizarre how this happens quite often with young Barolo, they appear lighter and more fruit forward than they actually are on opening . A bit more serious too, showing more nuances . Herbal hints , with lightly smoky darker cherry , liquorice and stony, mineral hints on the medium length finish. You could drink this now (if you do what I did last night and just pop and pour), but will be better in 5 years or so and last well a further 5-10. — 2 months ago
Nice Barbera. Good value at 20 bucks. Balanced and nice acidity. Restrained fruit. Made to be paired with food - pasta or savory appetizers. Yum. — 2 days ago
This is a great Vietti with its aromatics of cherry, berry, licorice spice, menthol, rose petal & tar. Youthful with many yrs ahead. — 2 months ago
W and A & J liked too. Recommended by waiter at Primo. So well balanced. Not too heavy. We kicked the bottle easily haha over a 2 hr great meal. — 4 days ago
Pulled the cork and let sit for 2 hours. Decanted and poured. Aromatics galore with mild tannins which I have found unusual for young Barolos — 2 months ago

Honey and floral at first, but also citrus and pear. Lively but also depth. Really lovely just lovely. — 4 days ago
