Stunner of a Savagnin, nose evokes a lovely mix of toasted nuts, caramel, apple sauce, camomile, white & yellow flowers as well as an almond croissant richness.
Rich mouth feel with vibrant acidity and that walnut skin tannin after taste.
Young, vital with some rough edges that should smooth out with a bit of time in bottle.

It would be more useful if Delectable labelled these with what the numbers actually mean: No. 3 is the Clare Valley riesling. And what a joy it is, full of juicy lemon, vital and bright, but with the bristling acid softened from what it was at release. Lemon barley cordial without the sweetness. Still very much on the youthful side with only a hint on the nose of secondary development to come. Incredibly moreish. — 4 years ago

These three were bright, vital and loaded with life. Served blind to a table of 11, the closest guess of their vintages was ‘13-‘15. They have such a long life ahead - 2004, 2005, 2006. — 7 years ago
All proceeds to Walla Walla’s SOS Clinic, free, nonprofit health services. Pale yellow, floral and peach aromas, peach and lemon flavors. Crisp, light skin astringency. Mineral and slightly lactic finish. A good cause, and a pretty good take on this varietal. Enjoy. — 3 years ago
2005 vintage. Solid colour. Amazingly vital, with still good fruit. Not especially complex, but a very nice wine. — 3 years ago
Raul Perez is a bit of a wine rock star, so I admittedly came to this 17$ entry level new project of his (with the Prieto varietal) with baited breath…& it did not disappoint. It drinks like…surprise.. a baby Morgon, with clean red cherries set in a fairly mineral frame. Quite lush on the nose. Not for acid hounds per se but still so vital & fresh. — 4 years ago
64% Syrah, 36% Cab. Classic Walla Walla nose of smoky embers and dark, low-toned pure berry fruit. Little iodine minerally thing. Broad and textured in the mouth, good acid/tannin balance. Flavors are dark, minerally, and savory. I love the concept of all proceeds going to help the hard-working vineyard and agricultural workers who labor in the area obtain healthcare. — 4 years ago
Pear, lemon, curd, custard, velvety soft in the mouth — 5 years ago
Chamomile, poached pear, acacia, pain grillé, mushroom tea, quatre épices, baked bones. On the downslope, but still quite vital, as all the oxidative elements are still in tension and balance. The Martin brothers rank with Corsin, Janin and Cornin as the very best growers in the Maconnais. — 7 years ago

Conrad Green

Beautifully fresh and intense with lemon, limestone and light floral notes. A powerful palate of bright citrus and an oily persistence in the mid palate with thrilling acidity and tension. Long and vital — 6 days ago
