German Savagnin and a brilliant interpretation. of this Jura specialty. Nose is hay, lemon, minerals and some grapefruit but it needs more air to reveal itself but my goodness the palate is just stunning. Rich but acidic with terrific mouthfeel and depth. Balanced and pure with terrific length and a lovely richness that lingers. — a month ago

Amazing nose. Mid to late season very ripe cherries, cranberry bog, white chocolate, and some citrus rind. Gorgeous. Spice and violets as well. Palate is rich and tense at the same time with gorgeous sweet cherry fruit and unreal purity and freshness. Super silky and sweet with great acidity and mineral sweet cherry finish. Now with air there is gorgeous blackberry and black raspberry. Unreal red cherries and spice. Really lifted nose. Palate is much redder than the nose lets on and has really engaging minerality. Have not had in two years and wow has this opened. Stunning nose of lemon oil, calcified sugar, wet earth, some stone fruits and herbals. Such a great nose showing some early aged character. Palate is at once opulent and at once incisive. That combo of stone fruit opulence and acid is heavenly. An amalgam of lemmon flesh, stone fruits like peach and apricot and wonderful stoney minerality. Just wonderful. Now after 6 hours the nose is crazy and confectionary. Gorgeous lemon and lime smarties. Uncanny. 9.6 nose. Palate so pure and so balanced. Exquisite. — 2 months ago
