A nice, richer style of Pinot, with rich dark cherry, fresh woody notes, a wet moss whiff. Enticing.
On the palate - juicy with vibrant acidity, fresh, crunchy cherry, a touch of tannic frame. On the fruitier side but with depth & purity. A truly nice Pinot. — 3 years ago
An uplifting, aetheric nose full of crunchy dark cherry and damson plum, with a whiff of tobacco leaf and a touch of cedar wood. On the palate quite light, with juicy acidity and nicely polished, ripe tannins. Thankfully not spoiled by clumsy wood aging. Quite elegant yet highly drinkable & delightful.

I wasn't expecting such level of refinement for less than 10€. Unclouded straw yellow gliming in the glas with a few green reflexes. Aromas of quince and brioche promise a smooth and fruity chardonnay experience and the promise is kept. As an extra you'll get a touch of lemon cest on the palate with a faint but fairly long lasting idea of herbal bitterness as a farewell. — a year ago
Rich gold in the glass and quite muted on the nose yet with enticing freshness. Underripe apricots, green papaya, white flowers, a pinch of spiciness, a slightly reductive, flinty whiff. Very light, yet intriguing.
On the palate this shows good weight & concentration, packed with the Riesling power. Yet there, again, is lightness & finesse with purity of fruit, a seamless, juicy mouthfeel and a long finish.
This is a GG playing more in the Kabinett featherlight league rather than heavyweight Spätlese. A very nice wine! — 5 years ago

Black fruits, earthy, herbs and some tobacco full-bodied and absolutely irresistible in the nose. Followed by a cool, well balanced structure on the palate with fine tanins, light as feather. Wood elves would love it. — 2 years ago
Shy & restrained in the nose with some peach, a touch of pineapple, a whiff of physalis. The palate shows surprising precision & tension for an entry level Riesling, with flinty minerality and yellow stone fruit woven tightly around a core of juicy acidity. On top, this has only 11,5% alc. What a delight. — 5 years ago
Wow! One of the best Blaufränkisch for me so far, 16 Euros! — 7 years ago
