Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The NV Grand Cru Brut Réserve pours a pale copper color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with bright notes of raspberry, strawberry, white peach, lemon bar, almond and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. Quite lovely stuff. Drink now. Disgorged March 2023 — a month ago

Star bright pale straw. Honeysuckle and ripe peaches in the inviting nose. Bright acidity on the medium palate which confirms the nose with a slight hint of smoke. Finish is naturally lengthy given the richness. Classic Mosel Kabinett Riesling from a well established and highly regarded producer. Pale golden yellow. Beautiful aromatics of honeysuckle, nectar, apricot and lychee. Features a medium sweet and fruit forward palate with tropical fruits, starfruit, apricot, mango, and peach. Underlying it all is a slate and mineral component, like petrichor. Good acidic structure. — 4 years ago
