Loved this wine. I dont usually favor pinot gris, but really enjoyed this one. A little fruit forward but not sweet. I cant have beer , so drank with boiled crawfish. It was great! — 6 years ago
Absolutely insane wine. Color is similar to a vintage Sauternes. Beautiful aroma, apricot, brown sugar, vanilla pod, and lemon. Tastes of light caramel, peach, soft minerality and acid. Light to medium viscosity. — 15 days ago

Beautiful gewurtz that paired nicely with a dinner of spicy, smokey, and citrus sushi and wagyu beef dishes.
Pale golden yellow. Beautiful aromatics of honeysuckle, nectar, apricot and lychee. Features a medium sweet and fruit forward palate with tropical fruits, starfruit, apricot, mango, and peach. Underlying it all is a slate and mineral component, like petrichor. Good acidic structure. — 4 years ago

TSWC. Excellent Riesling. Really enjoyed this. — 19 days ago
Aroma of apples & peach. Tastes sweet & fruity. Very smooth. Goes great with spicy Indian dishes! I’m really enamored of the history behind the vineyard and can almost understand the culture behind it, having visited the Bernkastel that overlooks the Deutches Eck, where the Rhine & Mosel meet! Love this wine and where it comes from! — 9 days ago
Just beautiful. It grows more amazing over time. Medium light viscosity. Starts with high acid, leather, grows to strawberry and red currant, ends with maple syrup. — 5 months ago
For London Lees Edi Steph Cindy David Day late BD dinner. Turns out Gerwurtz favorite of Mabel and Edi. Wonderful tropical nose of leechee mango etc but with acidity and bite on palate and not as sweet as nose might suggest. — 4 years ago
Just good. Simple, jammy. Great everyday drinking wine. — 6 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The NV Grand Cru Brut Réserve pours a pale copper color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with bright notes of raspberry, strawberry, white peach, lemon bar, almond and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. Quite lovely stuff. Drink now. Disgorged March 2023 — 17 days ago
