On the nose, breeding stands out on notes of sweet tobacco, cedar. The mouth is fresh, supple, simple but charming. The aging is fine, and the sour red fruit is fresh and crunchy. Beautiful gourmet and affordable cuvée that does not lack finesse. To be tasted in two years.

Vintage 2015 | beautiful smell with marsipan, bananas and minerality. Medium weight, quite a lot of sugar and honey impression. Actually a bit to sweet to combine it with the shrimp salad. Heads up to the next combination. — 5 years ago

Might have kept this a little too long as the flavors are a bit muddled. The aromas/nose on it fills the room so it’s very aromatic. The finish is long but all in the mid-palate and nothing in the cheeks so feels lacking. More acidic than I love. — 3 months ago

Delightful. Harmonious. Truly ‘feinherb’.
Candied citrus notes, honeysuckle, grilled pineapple, wet rocks. Sweetish Spatlese-like entry, finish mimicking a rich Trocken. This juice improved significantly over the years!
