At first thought this would be higher. It as it warmed and opened actually lost some of the acid that was keeping it balanced and became a bit too sweet. Still a very nice food pairing, and very classically mosel. Only 8.5%. — 3 months ago

Not as nervy as the 20 and shows the vintage in that it’s more baroque. It’s still crystalline and pure with freshness, electricity, finesse and depth. Just lacks the edge of the 20. — a year ago

A real charmer, full of dark, ripe, sweet berries, a pinch of spice, some kirsch, a whiff of gingerbread. Very sexy.
On the palate this is medium bodied, round, smooth, velvety with ripe dark fruit, a hint of dark chocolate nibs, with a fresh, herby note, juicy acidity and a very smooth, long finish. The alc (14% alc) is slightly noticeable but overall this is a true crowd pleaser!
