Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 3 months ago

Purchased during October 2019 visit to winery in Paso Robles. 40% Syrah; 25% Grenache; 24% Mourvèdre; 8% Petit Verdot; 3% Graciano. Strawberry, watermelon, white peach and mandarin orange fruit, with notes of rose petal, herbs de Provence and saline. — 5 months ago
At Mark Paul NYD Party old Cab series. Continuing with old Cab series. Equally surprising as the McDowell but a totally different profile, with more oxidative notes as expected for such an age and with rounder texture and shorter finish — 3 months ago

Will be delicious for many more years. Very juicy and full of complex earthy flavors. — 3 months ago
Tasting older. Lots of earl grey tea, dried cherry, potpourri, some cedar, plums. — 5 months ago

Probably about at the end of this 2009 unless you super carefully store it. But it's very interesting, Dark toffee, caramel, kind of Madeira type notes. — 9 days ago
