Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir 2019

Surprise me of having a more herbal and vegetable foundation than the light flowery fruity that you kind of expect from this area, but it worked very well. That herbal note faded after the first blush, and it developed some delicate strawberry and hibiscus and floral notes. Good structure, never felt flabby, but after a day or two of being open, develop some cherry flavors, which just weren’t my favorite, but weren’t bad. Delicious wine. — a day ago

Domaine Serene

Yamhill Cuvée Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022

Elegant Ruby color with red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for about 12 months in French oak, signature blend of grapes from Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton AVA's. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of herb, licorice and wet stone notes. Soft dusty tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Very Nice! Drinking well now! — 13 days ago

Big Table Farm

Pelos-Sandberg Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022

Reddish in color with a cloudy rim.

On the nose fresh red fruits with light oak and chocolates.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and fat legs.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, red plums, currants, light wood, spices, earth, light vegetables, coffee, bitter herbs and black pepper.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a tasty Pinot Noir from Oregon. Feels like an old world Pinot Noir.

Still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Showing good potential at this point.

This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is good right out of the bottle, and better after some air time.

12.9% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$70.
