Very citrus driven. Eureka lemon. Jasmine nose - some in the glass. Pretty. Hint burned hazelnuts. Classic. Lots of acid. However there is not really anything in this wine which leads me to - oha have not had this before!!Good but not a must have and at 85$ is too expensive. Previous bottle tasted a year ago in September 2024. Mid lemon in colour. Aromatics of struck match, white flowers, lemon and sea spray. Hasn’t got the delicious ripe fruit I am used to with Australian Chardonnay but it does have its charm and attraction in a more mineral restrained style. — 10 months ago

Opened day before and let sit overnight with cork in. Lovely, picked some lemons from our tree for dinner and this has so many of the components from smell of zesting to juicing. But it’s not all lemons, there’s some almond, touch of tart stone fruit with some bread, lingering finish of vanilla, almonds, lemons. It’s no secret PYCM made incredible 11’s. Les Caillerets couldn’t have shown better tonight, fully open and giving wafting from the glass with layers of white peach, toasted hazelnut and pastry cream. The palate is impeccably refined, elegant, pure and chiseled with racy lemony acids, superb weight for the vintage and a long stony mineral inflicted finale.
