Warning: do not open this young with little decanting and expect it to be like a Super Tuscan. I've had a 2010 in 2014, and it took hours to decant. This one is also a 2010 but much softer and more accessible. Lovely brick red with brown edges showing its age. Initial aromas of cocoa, roses, and plum, but as it opens, reveals spices and black cherry. — 2 years ago
Loved this wine and had it against another xenomavro. #winenerdalert Ruby red color. Similar to an American zin or Argentinian Malbec. Tons of fruit. Like drinking a blueberry/rhubarb/raspberry pie. Medium body. Would love to have again. — 2 years ago
One of the better and more unexpected wines I’ve had this year. Burgundy meets Nebbiolo but even more rustic. 50% xinomavro, 35% krassato, 15% stavrato.
Smells like sea jetty, your childhood best friend’s basement and the fresh plastic smell of opening up a brand new toy. Cherry compote, raspberry, hints of dark chocolate, and limestone.
Don’t think too much. The gods of Olympus and millennia are on your side. Just let it in & enjoy. — 2 years ago

Served with rack of lamb and roasted fennel. Worked very well. Let it breath for ~90 minutes, 60 in a decanter. Plums and cherry, a little acid nice tannins, dry. Went well with the red meat. — 2 years ago
