#hautmedoc #milleroses sooo good. Impressive for the the price. Tasting blind it was on par with domaine de la comtesse — 5 years ago
Prototypical #hautmedoc - Demure fruit, violets, pencil shavings on nose; laid back fruit continues on palate with minerals, accessible tannins and less acidity - this 8 year old wine is peaking now and offered an excellent value on a French bistro wine list. — 5 years ago
Vintage 2015 mocca cacao cedar build for the future black fruit #hautmedoc — 6 years ago
Not showing well. Green, metallic, and mold notes. Just ripened red and black fruit. Gritty tannins. #bordeaux #hautmedoc #ctbucklinwine — 8 years ago
Home-isolation pandemic angst and impatience drove me to open this wine perhaps a few years early as the 2016s are said to have aging potential. Even somewhat young this #bordeauxsuperior hailing from #hautmedoc delivers elegance at a great price. Cassis, some violet and graphite - classic layers from #petitverdot. I love PV and this Château blends 50% with 30% #merlot and 20% #cabernetsauvignon . In the mouth there’s juicy acidity, fresh blackberry and good power in the tannins. Found it at Costco a while ago for less than $15; talk about great QPR - should have picked up half a case at this price. — 5 years ago
Vintage 2012 / year that is easy accesible, mild smell with impressions of cherries and plums, soft vannilla, a bit sharp taste from bottle but velvety after a few hours in decanter. I like Lanessan because it is reliable. #hautmedoc Partnered with a steak, green asparagus with baked almond shavings. — 6 years ago
