Vintage 2016 - This wine is what my wife calls ‘friendly’, a nice smell with sweet cherries, red fruit, a rich and sultry smell. Very smooth wine with a nice mineral touch. #primitivo #zinfandel #puglia — 7 years ago
Rich slightly spicy #puglia red blend. There's a touch of smoke, dark chocolate and true to the name, coffee complete with slight not unpleasant bitterness balanced by surprisingly forward acidity.

Very ripe and with plush oxidizing fruit. Incredible longevity in the glass. Not my style but I appreciate that it’s well made. #cosimotaurino #negroamaro #patriglione #salento #rosso #salento #puglia — 7 years ago
Medium garnet color. Medium+ intensity aromas of ripe red fruit (ripe strawberries, cherries and bramble) there are medicinal herbal aromas and flavors as well (anis, thyme and lemon balm) secondary aromas of after eight and cocoa powder. There are tertiary aromas and flavors of ripe dried fruit like prunes. Dry, medium- acidity, medium sweet luscious tannin and high alcohol medium body and medium+ finish. #puglia #negroamaro #italy — 4 years ago

Much more lively than the #patriglione but this faded faster. Drink up! #cosimotaurino #puglia #negroamaro #ctbucklinwine #notarpanaro #salento — 7 years ago
Delicious #puglia #negroamaro blend - deep placid aroma well of blackberry fruit and compote, succulent acidity up front on the palate melting into cocoa, mild coffee and sweet tobacco finish wrapped with soft tannins. I drank this in honor of 🇮🇹! — 5 years ago
Vintage 2015 / 80% raisiny Merlot, fermented in stainless steel. 20% Pignolo with 12 months in barrel. Rich wine from #Puglia. I don’t like the Amarone style usually, but this wine is a positive exception. / Partnered with cheeses. Does it very well with cheddar. — 6 years ago
A big style, built for rustic fare! Raspberry reduction, cinnamon, vanilla, anise, cedar and blackberries. Medium heavy mouthfeel exhibiting firm tannins and relatively dry. Mocha-raspberry, vanilla tobacco, lingonberry, and a light, dry mint on a dark and rich offering! Cinghuale anyone? #Puglia #Manduria #primitivo #negroamaro #bbqwine #italianwines #rosso #blacknwild — 7 years ago

The chameleonic nature of #sangiovese reveals itself here. This #puglia presents a savory character with blackberry, stewed plum, balsamic notes balanced against rosemary and Mediterranean herbs. Medium plus palate, racy acidity and delicate tannins on the finish. Brilliant food-friendly wine. — 2 years ago
