I agree with a few others that have mentioned it’s roughness, it seems like the tannins are a little coarse. Lovely aromas with a perfume of #cabernet and #tempranillo for some reason on the palate it seemed more like a Rioja than a #riberadelduero — a year ago

Notable tension, spicy mid-palate with leather, tobacco and quite firm tannins on the finish that build with each sip.
