93 that leans into 94 and will see another point or two with 10 years in bottle.
Sofia and I used to go to their futures luncheon for many years. This vineyard consistently yields fruit that makes one of their best Cabernet’s.
It’s lush as it enters and falls onto dry, meaty tannins. Blackberries, creamy black raspberries, black plum with skin, dark cherries & purple fruits. Dry crushed rocks, dry top soil, limestone & volcanic minerals, moist clay, dry tobacco, new, raw leather, still very woody, mixed mid & dark berry cola, plenty of baking spices-clove, nutmeg, cinnamon & vanilla, dark spices with some heat, some dry herbs, dark melted, chocolate, cocoa powder, caramel notes, bright, fresh & candied florals that are dark, red, blue and framed in violets & lavender, ver nice round acidity with a highly structured, tensioned, well balanced and polished finish that lasts 90 seconds but still lands squarely on wood. — 9 months ago
Opened another recently, legendary wine, said that in the 18th century was introduced to Sultan of Constantinople's palace b/c of its clarity and called "mineral water from Carbonnieux", defying Islamic law. Pale lemon with pronounce aromas of tropical and stone fruits with herb notes. On the palate flavors of melon, mango, apple, green herbs and a crisp mineral edge. Medium+ length, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit, citrus mineral character. Nice, aging well. — 3 years ago
An enjoyable vintage, even if it’s not a top vintage, it still portrays typical P-C. Always enjoyable. Drinking very well with just a short decant. — a month ago
Dark ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, black currants/cherries, purple flowers and menthol. Same dark fruits on the palate with additional notes of black olives, tobacco, roasted herbs and black pepper. Meaty texture and a beautiful long and earthy finish. Medium-plus body and rustic/chewy tannins. Complex, concentrated and rich. Excellent! Thanks for sharing James W. — 6 months ago

"made from classic Tuscan red grapes. Has a bright red color with purple hues. on the nose it displays rich aromas of blackberry, cherry and violets, while on the pallet there is an abundance of crisp elegant cherry fruit" — 5 years ago
Plum and dark cherry, generous earth, and a dry finish with moderate tannins. — 2 months ago
This is the Chanson/Bastion G-C…decanted 90 mins….lovely Burgh, very refined/subdued, but lacks depth to me, turned a bit sour late. Maybe a bit more earth than I like? Really lingering over it. J loves it — 3 years ago

2007 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 mins. Small amount of sed. Light-medium body. A chunky green streak riding high palate throughout. 10.11.24. — a month ago
