Great, but the 2018 better - a little more horsepower. — 14 days ago
RW’s bday party at Chi Spacca. We all loved it. Very smooth and balanced. Barolo-like — 24 days ago
Red cherries, raspberries, dried herbs, wet stone, and hints of ginger and cardamom. Lovely and definitely gives me a new appreciation for Barbera. — 2 months ago
Deep, dark and contemplative. Fresh and lively nose, but the fruit is quite restrained and serious. Black cherry, prune, vanilla bean and black pepper with dusty, astringent tannins. Long dry finish of hay, dried herbs and some of that bitterness. Drinking it on the cooler side. Feels right to sip this while listening to Sketches of Spain. — 23 days ago

Among the best that Ribero del Duero offers. Benefits from a generous decant for a wonderful waft in the glass — a month ago

After sending back an oxidized, tired 2020 Rossi di Montalcino, the Somm had the waiter bring back this wine at around the same price point. Don’t sleep on #barberadalba from a great producer. Raspberry, plum, dusty dark fruit nose. So vibrant on the palate with lush yet tangy dark red fruit on the entry, gossamer tannins on the finish. Corking it after dinner and after the next day in the wine fridge still as alive. — 24 days ago
