Delicious ‘syrah’ style shitaz from McLaren Vale. Not overdone; lovely balanced structure with blueberry and plum fruit. — a month ago
An excellent full bodied Shiraz from a warm year in McLaren Vale and South Australia in general. Red and black fruits with a tarry creosote note as in previous notes. Rich and flavoursome on the full bodied palate but not heavy - very well done. The Dead Arm is the top red cuvée from d’Arenberg. Drinking at its peak. — a month ago

East summer drink. Fine fruity light finish with a touch of crisp green apple. — a month ago
Dark red purple. Inviting nose and medium full, fruit-forward (for a European) palate of blueberry-blackberry compote. Bright medium acidity and medium minus tannins that mostly assert back-palate. Dark and slightly bitter finish (Touriga Nacional showing). Fine example of Portuguese non-Porto red. Ready for hearty entrées like roasted beef or pork. Drink now through 2028. — a month ago
Clean, fresh at nearly 5 years. Reductive and a little spritzy in a good way. Resembles a top German Müller-Thurgau. — a month ago

Another property I have been.
These normally take some time before showing well. But this 21 was one of the top 10 in the 70 or so I tasted. Showing nicely & quite beautiful. 95-97 aged appropriately.
