Really a very nice Corsican red. I believe the grape is the local version of Sangiovese. Has some very different purple flowers and herbal notes, but still the great tension and acid. Delicious and interesting. — 4 months ago
Early, okay! My tongue is doing a happy dance. In my arena, perfection! Blackberries, Black Cherry, dark chocolate, expresso, black strap molasses, tar, graphite, vanilla bean, Eucalyptus, and Forrest floor! Mike Smith magic! — 10 months ago
Salty, crunchy, blood orange, and lemon citrus, mineral inflected attack that fans out to salt and fruit in the finish. Not for everyone but a nice change from your typical rose. — 3 years ago
Sangiovese by way of Corsica. Somewhat earthier, spicier, more rustic. Acid a bit less and overall less polished than, say, a Tuscan Chianti. But a quite nice restrained wine. — 2 years ago
Honestly I haven’t been drinking wine for a while but this has reinvigorated my interest. Mosse is underrated these days. Depth and balance and finesse beyond its price tag. — 3 years ago
