Medium tannins, full bodied, balanced Cabernet .Nutty , earthy paired with a prime rib.

Love the packaging and it was actually quite nice. Smells rich, creamy, malty, and nutty. So is the palate - thick bittersweet chocolate drink. Finishes creamy and syrupy. Admittedly not as peanut buttery as expected, but it's a tasty decadent beer. — 5 years ago
Surprisingly light colored head that sprung up like a ghost and then shot back down to a smoky whisper. Rum notes with caramel cream in the lead; spun sugar, cinnamon and clove with yogurt pretzel and honeyed tea. Spicy entry boasts sweetness but not overwhelming. Pumpkin oil, vanilla, oaky caramel, cinnamon and bitter note that suggests charred pecan, and peppercorns. This beer is good because it doesn’t stay sweet throughout and instantly congers the autumnal spirit. It doesn’t get too artificial, borrowing most of its flavors from barrel. #pumpkin #pumpkinbeer #ale #SouthernTier #imperialpumpkin #pumking #beer #seasonalbeer #oakaged #halloween #alehallows — 6 years ago
A winner from @ Garagiste’s case of rosés. Grenache/Cinsault/Rolle/Syrah.
With WINE!!!! On the back label in French and English.
Lovely subdued fruit, a bit of a powdery, talc quality many Provençal rosés carry.
Watermelon, Rainer Cherries, rosehips, nice balance of acidity.
With crab cakes on a muggy day and a lack of beer, perfect — a year ago
Rich perfume of spices and pomegranate. Specifically pomegranate. Beautiful bee pollen and mulling spices. No harshness. The fragrance of a rich and blossoming garden of roses.
Woah. Zippity zip. We got acidity, and it’s medium to high but with the natural carbonation and juice juice juice, it just works man.
It’s got sour framboise beer qualities, but of course the tannins and the cola like quality just sings.

this bottle takes me back to Alsace.
i spent a weekend in Strasbourg in 2006 protesting/partying in front of the European parliament that's located there.
no wine was tasted as i sticked to self imported bottle of zubrowka vodka, drops of potent LSD (that were dropped to the tail end of the vodka by a really short vicious smiling man - true story) and local pilsner beer that i remember fondly that's called 'meteor' and came in large 750ml bottles(pretty good ice cold and just ok after the sun warmed up the last 3rd of the bottle).
and now... 13 years later. different tastebuds. but I'm still the same person essentially.
100% pinot gris
off dry officially but feels dry.
14% ABV
pale green 👀
🧀 rind, green apple, pear, very fresh lemon and finely chopped greens👃
full body. I'm guessing the rs helps to build it.
medium plus acidity.
creamy, tart and a bit fruity with added white pepper and maybe even ginger 👄
long lingering pleasent creamy 🎯 like tasty and slightly bitter 🍬
great wine, no doubt about it.
tasty and complex, plays with you and changes every sip, but always superb.
excelent vfm (110 nis). expensive but works hard for your money.
need to try the winery Riesling now.
had it all day on it's own while vacationing.
soft and spicy cheese platter could have helped but I'm too full. — 5 years ago
Jumping spider eye bubbles mass in a parabola foam while smaller bubble sheens fill the bursting absences, until the whole becomes an espresso foam, and equally oiled. Unction lacings lean Hebraic but ultimately are the dream fonts writ by the hand of G-d. Mene Mene Tekel Parsin they seem to say before fluttering away as constellations on a starling’s back. Fair warning as this is a heavy purse to carry. Six years in and taking stock. Figs, dates, treacle, raisins, carob, caramel, vanilla bean, sweet potato casserole, bacon fat, mincemeat. Rich on the palate with milk chocolate, molasses, Turkish coffee, gingerbread, candied date, and espresso-tobacco finish. Gloriously integrated and complex complexions.

Best beer I’ve had. Floral, citrus, vanilla, and the bourbon barrel aging gives the back palette such a tremendous acidic lift. Gorgeous orange color. A perfect beer. The alcohol is completely hidden but will tackle you to the ground like a linebacker. — 5 years ago
Light and a little funky. Tastes somewhat like a sour beer. Keep wanting to go back for another sip. — 6 years ago
