This is the La Casuccia CdA which wasn’t in the Delectable lineup - my third favorite of the CdA dinner - see the Montebuoni and Bellavista notes. Note that we also tasted the ‘07 La Casuccia but didn’t love it - actually seemed to have some funk to it — 2 months ago

Delicious, crisp fruit with a gerber baby food smell and vanilla pudding note, the best sparkling rose I’ve ever had — 3 years ago
Gorgeous nose. Floral, cherry, red fruits, lemon, lime, smells like elite Champagne. The Pinot Noir shines through. Palate is a bit broad and all over the map. Good parts, and maybe dosage is also a bit high for my tastes. Meh. Maybe improve with air. Solid but inconsequential. — 4 years ago
Expressive Bordeaux blend from …. Valle de Guadeloupe! Brought it home when we were traveling there. They are making great wines in Baja California region but interestingly very difficult, if not impossible to get in the US. Paralelo 31 was recommended by several. They are part of a larger project. No dedicated tasting room. Lot of upfront dark earthy expressive fruit. A bit tart on the finish. — 6 months ago

When you say chardonnay in Italy is tricky
But when we think what they grow in Franciacorta for their sparkling it is all about quality
And the side "surprise" is how their non sparkling Chardonnay show
Marvellous mineral
Great balance
Amazing zingy and persi aftertaste
Bellavista isn't just anyone
They definitely know what they're doing
IMO one of the best Italian Chardonnay at the moment
I had memory of the ca del bosco one being great but this one sits just on his side.
The bonus was having it at sunset on a hill over Byron Bay, Bangalow to be precise.
One of those wine that gets stuck with the memory. — a month ago
