Light, juicy, and again, fun. — 4 years ago
Very fresh, lively, primarily redfruited aromas and flavors, some spicy notes as well, super nicely balanced, great acid, shows admirable restraint, should age nicely midterm (5-10 years?), very good “entry level” Zinfandel, long finish!! I’d read that the 2023 Zins, grown in a relatively cooler year, had a very long growing season, with excellent acidity, and I’d say this shows all of those characteristics. Morgan nailed this, it was great to finally meet his “adult” version, my wife and I first met him about 35 years ago at a ZAP event at Ravenswood hosted by his father Joel. — a month ago

A fine wine with lots of fruit and mineral aspects. Can still age a bit — 3 years ago
Globs of cassis with either tar or licorice (both?) bringing up in the rear. Tasty sour cherries give it a lively jolt. The juice totally saturates across one’s taste receptors and remains with you a good 90 seconds from down the hatch. Yes, it’s young....but, if its current structure continues hand in hand this is going to be a classic Morgan down the road. A gorgeous wine! — 4 years ago

2008 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Some fine sediment. Ripe, plummy nose. Medium-heavy body. Ripe, plummy flavors. Pushed through approx 1/8 of a glass and just couldn’t any more any longer. Lacking any respectable semblance of balance. And I thought the old '90's Bryant Family Cabs came in as über-low, strafing fruit bombs…10.25.24. — a month ago
