Olivier Bernstein

Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2010

This was served blind to eliminate the negative bias that several in our group have towards Olivier Bernstein wines. This actually showed very well tonight. — 13 days ago

Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé White Bordeaux Blend 2020

Beautiful bordeaux for the price! 2020 vintage. Dark ruby color, great presence in the nose. Balanced tannins after an hour of open. A sure purchase to keep in cellar. — 6 months ago

Olivier Bonville

Camille Champagne Grand Cru Brut Rosé

Vibrant salmon pink. Abundant nose of ripe peach and tangerine. Toasted brioche added to these in the lush, medium palate. Lingering red fruit finish. Fruity without being "fruity" is a great description of this. The rosé from Franck Bonville's second label is a great starter and an excellent accompaniment to a wide range of cuisines. Drink it when you buy it, of course. — a year ago

Clos Saint-Marc Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2018

Sha-bang! This was very impressive. Perfect wine for our light and cheese pasta dishes and fish. Lots of mouthfeel and zesty fruit. Rolled in slowly but fully. I thought this had the heft of a grand cru. Top notch. — 8 days ago

Odyssee 319 Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc

Bdb classic - floral, citrus, tart apple and pear with a fair amount of depth, minerality, and creaminess to accompany the pleasant acidity. Balanced and more pleasing with a little air and time. — 7 months ago

Château Olivier

Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Cabernet dominant Bordeaux blend. Deep ruby color. Aromas of dried black cherries and currants along with notes of black licorice and wet asphalt. Blackberry, black currant and plum lead the palate with hints of tobacco, mushroom and black licorice. Long and smokey finish. Bone dry, full bodied and beautifully balanced. Ripe and concentrated. Thanks for providing this stunner, Kase! — 2 months ago
