Dizy - Terres Rouges Extra Brut Rosé Champagne 2008

Almost bandol rose-like on the nose. Quite bright… light red cherry with a steeliness and salinity. Young. A little simple but with age may soften into something interesting — 6 days ago

Les Cabottes Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir 2023

9.3

Just the most joyous wine. Julian’s exuberant fruit and exactitude without sacrificing the joy of an entry level incredibly well made Bourgogne. So fresh and energetic. And wow fruit. Grippy and sweet. Terrific freshness and just wonderful opulence that then goes straight to mineral. This is the classiest wine with just a hint of rusticity that adds so much. — 3 days ago

Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2023

You cannot really ever go wrong with a value CDR selected by Kermit Lynch. Well rounded fruit with subtle tannins and balanced acidity. Quaffable all day long. — a month ago

Holy living mother of god. Amazing.

Nose: gorgeous yellow fruits explode form the glass on open. More mineral with air.

Palate: generous fruit. Rich. Good density. Long juicy finish.

Moulin-à-Vent Gamay 2022

Forgot to take detailed notes, but this was nice. Not really any carbonic / natural / “new agey”notes, just a solid classically made gamay. Definitely has some structure, opened 4 hours before serving which was good. Didn’t sing on any one dimension of fruit / earth / acid / length / texture but was nice overall. — 2 months ago
