Syrah is the predominant grape more than Carignan & Grenache, despite what the label states! The wine is therefore more complex, more fragrant and more powerful at 14.5%, without being jammy or overwhelming. Good value for less than £10. — 9 months ago

Opened 1 June. Really nice! — 10 months ago
Bordeaux blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of blackberry, black licorice, cedar and violets. Blackberry, black plum and blueberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of vanilla, baking spices and tobacco. Very long, smooth and earthy finish. Velvety tannins and medium-plus bodied. Nicely rounded and complex. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 2 months ago
