Very dry & bold: dark fruit, leather, dark chocolate, tar. — 2 years ago
Beautiful translucent ruby red in the glass. So aromatic and heavily perfumed - I thought I was smelling the lady next to me but no, it’s the wine. White gardenia, violets. Not much fruit at all. Tannins are quite grippy for pinot noir, surprising. Finish is short-ish, bummer. The taste is very whelming but the aroma goes on forever and ever… and finally I smell that freshly rained-upon forest floor!! At the very bottom of the glass… pee-like ammonia. Not the best ending to a pretty glass. — 8 days ago
Dark opaque ruby red color. Aromas of cherries, fresh herbs, wood smoke and espresso. Flavors of black cherries/currants/plums, baking spices, black licorice and dark chocolate. Long elegant, yet earthy finish. Medium-plus body and ample weight. Well polished and totally harmonious. More fruit forward than I expected. Simply excellent. 2023 vintage. From a 375ml bottle. Fairly fruity off the bat and medium/medium-heavy body. Came back to revisit after an hour and mouthfeel dropped down to medium body with expansive tea and earth flavors. Nice 1st impressions. 12.28.25. — 10 days ago
