Solid rully, full on fresh yellow fruits, some lactic notes, hay, and a small mineral hint in the finish. Bought locally last week at the cave in buxy and drinking one now in the heat waved Drome. — 5 months ago
A accidentally find in my cellar it’s a huge mess! This is what Burghs are all about. This one needs air. Plenty of tannins left should go for another 4 years or so. Crushed Marble, Port wine notes, touch cherry 🍒, hint cinnamon, tree bark, touch bitter, black tea notes. Tomorrow more after 24h’s on the Argon line. Mellowed further out. — 8 months ago
Initially nice with red fruits, opening up with more forest floor after about 15 mins. 30 mins later, the heat of the vintage comes out. So, really enjoyable, but only for a pretty narrow window of time. — 10 days ago

Medium deep ruby , garnet . Quite rich and deep fruits , with some dusty herbal elements . On the palate also quiet ripe and rich , sweetly fruited . Dark cherry , with some summer fruits , blackberry . Good balance however , with sweet tannin and balanced acidity . Still showing lots of fruit , but drinking now but can can last well , probably improve over the next 5 years or so . — a month ago
An average Merlot from the region. Leather and cherry. Not complex but fine with Italian food. May 2024. — 7 months ago

Suggested at Grand Cata on 11/29/2024 when I asked for Ribera sacra bzw. Galicia. $30. L noted Chambers had shipped same wine! Likely natural then, though lacking that liveliness. Drank 11/30/2024. Ash, bubble gum on nose. Puckett tannins will likely settle down with time and warmth. Black fruit, violets, gravel/slate. Long strong finish lingers. — 18 days ago
