My monthly Monday Burger Night and I shared this one. My first time cracking into my Corison single vineyard allocation and I’m so happy I did. The beauty and freshness of this one is next level. Decanted about 30 minutes and it continued to evolve over course of evening. Impeccably balanced, powerful, yet refined. — 7 months ago
Double decant and pour(lots of sediment). A splendid medium ruby red color. On the nose: a little stewed red fruit, herbaceous, worn leather, mint, sweet smokey oak, loamy soil. Taste: smooth, elegant, savory wine with a touch of dried red fruit, dried herbs, cocoa, damp earth, minerals, and a spiced iron/meaty medium finish. YUM! Mature and on the long downside, but still drinks nicely at 28 years. — 2 months ago
This is what every Cabernet Sauvignon should taste like. Despite being from Italy instead of California, this Cabernet has the richness of a Corison or other top Cabernet Sauvignon, but for less money. Deep intense stewed fruit to start with plum and blackberry, rich earthiness, chocolate and tobacco, then perfect tannins to finish. And aged just the right amount now to smooth out the tannins. Buy some if you can find it. At $67.50, this Cabernet Sauvignon was an extraordinary value. — 2 years ago
Long a favorite, perfect balance. Black currant / black cherry on the palate. Over 5 years old with smoothed Tannins, but enough presence for further aging. August 2025. — 2 months ago
Delicious. Dry. Aromatic. Complex. Delicious. — 3 years ago

Kronos is legit. Huge jump in complexity with obvious old vine concentration. It’s layered, balanced and just so full of substance. To taste side by side with the regular bottling really shows how good Kronos is. — 12 days ago
