I've had Albe a number of times, and it's always been very good. This bottle is delicious, even though it is young. It's vibrant and zesty with bright cherries, cranberry, a light dusting of... dust, little mint, little tea leaf. It would be great with some cellaring, but when it tastes like this at this price, why wait? Paired beautifully with some flank steak and chimichurri.
Delectable puts it at $48 but I don't think I've ever spent that much.

Needs to breathe first!!!
Then, after the reductive stink blows away, shows funky cranberry, light cherry, raindrops on hot rock.
On the palate this is light yet with loads of character. Full of cherry juiciness & freshness, with light yet firm tannins and great flow. Nice depth & precision!
This (at 12% alc) is so drinkable and yet quite serious.

Medium Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine soft tannins on a long finish ending with cacao, baking spices and earthy character. Very nice! — 5 months ago
Chewy tannins. Inky. Black fruits. Dried black raspberry. Cooked cranberry. Touch of mint on finish. — 2 years ago
