This is actually the de’ Negoce Côtes du Rhône Blanc. Blend of Roussanne (40%), Viognier (40%), Grenache Blanc (10%), Clairette (10%) and Bourboulenc (5%). Light to medium straw color. Aromas of peaches, white flowers and minerals. Palate features green apple, unripe peach, orange zest and a hint of butter. Notes of wet stones on the very long finish. Creamy texture (lightly oaked?). Crisp acidity. — 2 years ago
Pale lemon in color, swirling the glass reveals fresh aromas of lemon, green apple, pastry and a dash of almonds. Medium bodied, the 2020 Chablis Champs Royaux is a snappy little Chablis balanced by a lively acidity. The medium finish confirms a wine of good quality. I'm glad to see that this négoce wine from Fèvre has improved over recent years. Drink now until 2026 — 2 years ago
A cab lover’s pinot. Deep, rich and delicious. — 10 months ago
Surprising négoce wine by François de Nicolay of Chandon de Briailles, one of our favorite producers in Savigny-les-Beaune/Corton. This is 100% Chardonnay sourced from organic/biodynamic vineyards in the Coteaux de Champlitte, a little known appellation north of Jura, in the in the Franche-Comté department. Expressive nose. Vibrant, lovely nose of crisp green apple. Fresh, medium-bodied, mineral, great texture, good acidity — a year ago
Big and boozy. Mushroom and earth. Coming along nicely. Look forward to this in a year or two if there’s any left. — 2 years ago

Excellent white Burgundy from up-and-coming micro-négoce by Japanese expat Seiichi Saito. This comes from Saito’s own tiny 0.1 hectare plot in the Boutières lieu-dit in Savigny-les-Beaune, farmed biodynamically. Fermented with indigenous yeasts. Aged in neutral oak for about 11 months. Unfiltered, unfined. Lively nose with aromas of Meyer lemon, yellow apple, pear and apricot. Medium-bodied, textured, mineral. Lots of green apple in the palate. Delicious 😋 — 2 years ago
