It’s been a while since I’ve rated or ranked anything. Pulled this out of the cellar and it is absolutely incredible!!!! 2011 vintage. — 13 days ago
This is generally regarded as the best example of Shiraz Viognier in Australia but recently I tried a 2015 Serrat Shiraz Viognier which was the equal of Clonakilla if not better. As per previous Delectable notes this bottle had the trademark dried spices, cloves a trace of pepper and dried meat. Barely medium weight and always a joy to drink. My last bottle. — 3 days ago
Rocco’s takeout and a nice bottle. Not a bad Saturday night. Bonus that the wife is letting me call the ball after dinner. — 11 days ago
Complex rich full body live acidity petrol — 4 days ago
Deep, deep ruby and not a hint of browning on the rim even though it’s 12 years old. Oaky vanilla with blueberry pie and some spicy notes. Lots more blue/black fruit on the palate. Super well balanced and enjoyed chewing on some med/fine tannins. Got two more of these and think I’ll wait a while. Not even close to showing its age. I think the scores will continue to climb on this one. — 5 days ago

Opened and decanted for 2 hours before dinner and then really only opened up and truly hit expectations around the 3rd hour when paired with wagyu strip steaks.
This wine was savory tightly wound and tannic at first. Didn’t show much fruit until after the long decant and then it really changed.
With time, the fruits shown through with great complexity and great balance for the savory elements. — 11 days ago
