Served with Fisherman’s Pasta - sablefish, mussels, saffron gnocchetti pasta, fennel, fresh baguette toast. One whiff of the nose and this couldn’t be anything other than GC white burgundy. Powerful notes of caramel popcorn, tropical fruit, marshmallows, and nuts. Fabulous acid that one might find more typical in Chablis. This was almost a shock to the system but let’s be honest, I don’t typically get to drink Montrachet…but I could get used to it. This almost seemed young. — 14 days ago
