It’s great to grab a wine with a little age. Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, floral spice and cedar notes, blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged 75% on new oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe plum and black cherry with cacao, tobacco, licorice and spice. Fine developed tannins, well balanced on long finish, ending with fruit, cedar and earthy spice character. Very nice, tasting great now. — 5 months ago

The 2023 Rosé is deep, complex and layered, with ripe nectarine, rose garden and sweet cherry fruit notes. Beautifully expressive and floral on the nose, savory, salty mineral tones meet red berry freshness and an undercurrent of spice in the mouth. A touch of almond bitterness grabs at the edges of the tongue toward the close, striking great harmony with a rounded sweetness. Bravo. (Billy Norris, Vinous, May 2024)

2017 enjoyed 10/7/2023. nose: caramelized pineapple, wavering between oxidative and candied. wiffs of fresh floral pass quickly, stony/mineral undertone. palate: medium body, oily viscosity, high acid and mineral leave my tongue tingling. gorgeous. glad that I opened. — 9 months ago
