1995 vintage. Good fill. Excellent cork with minimal saturation. Decanted and throwing a tad extra sediment…a nice mix of chunky and powdery sed. Tasted after 30 minutes and 2 hours open and decanted. Light-medium body. Dark cherry and earth in the nose. These transferred over and slapped on a fudge chocolate note on the finish. In a good place now and not improving. Would seem to hold steady in this standing for another 3-4 years. 6.6.24. — 24 days ago
Surprisingly smooth and mellow. It’s nice for a blend and would buy again. Plus I like bourbon. — 3 months ago

Bright straw gold color with faint green highlights. Intense aromas and flavors of gooseberry, grapefruit, lime, poblano pepper, roasted nuts, kiwi and lemon. Pleasant note of smoky minerals on the very long finish. Bone dry with vibrant and mouth watering acidity. Creamy texture, very complex and extremely fresh. Great QPR. — a month ago
Annual birthday WWC hosting. As normal, 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert, all presented blind.
Fun to open birth year wines around your birthday, especially when you can do a Bordeaux and Napa side by side. While not a great vintage, this held up well after a few hours and presented as expected. Clean and zero Brett. Great color! Deep ruby with hardly any bricking. Leather, cassis, vanilla pipe tobacco on the nose. Sporting a good bit of dusty red and black fruits (mostly tart raspberries and blackberries), there was a little savory truffle note mixed with an herbal and mocha finish. Still quite grippy. Pretty. — 2 months ago
I have really come to embrace this producer since my October 22 visit to the property. Beautiful champagne that is generally fermented in neutral small & large barrels/vats.
Starts w/ lemon, pineapple, lime, kiwi, white stone fruits, green apple, touch of tangerine & grapefruit w/ light sprinkle of sugar, cream, light white spice, crushed limestone w/ chalk, sea fossils, saline, light yeastiness, bread dough, sprinkle of dry herbs, spring flowers, jasmine, spring flowers & a touch of yellow lilies, nice crisp acidity with a structured backbone, nice tension, very well balanced and an elegant polished finish that lasts just under 90 seconds. — a month ago
Light bodied without being a pushover. Bright fruit, almost a bit green like unripened strawberries with a constant bitter note throughout - like unsweetened cacao nibs — 2 months ago
Delicious. Perfect wine for a full meal. Crisp, tart, goes with anything. — 3 months ago

I’m a fan of this although it is from a large brewer that some say is industrial. Really nice and certainly on the heavier/bolder side of the house. They said grilled meats - don’t doubt this work. I had it with a tuna course. — 9 days ago
