Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Brut Nature pours a faint pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with winsome notes of ripe berries: raspberry, strawberry, white peach, lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and despite the zero dosage, the fruit comes across almost round…but in a really good and balanced way. Damn…I love Drappier! Slightly deeper colour than the Salon . More earthy brown bread , touch of walnut , honey , soy hint . On the palate this is fresh and lighter in body than expected . With green apple , toasted bread , touch of citrus peel . Fresh acidity and moderate length . Still drinking but for now and over the next few years . — 7 months ago
