Light golden in color.
Nose of citrus, limes, green apples, light yeast, minerals, spices, herbs and earth.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity, and small bubbles.

Nice length on the finish with limes and spices.
What a delicious 15 year old Vintage Champagne. Nicely balanced and elegant. Still showing lots of fruits.
Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime.
A blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay. Unfiltered.
12% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Medium salmon pink colour, vigorous fine bubbles . Quite fresh and fruit driven , raspberry , strawberry , rose , orange rind and red currant . Nicely rounded with cool red fruits on the palate , red currant , cranberry , strawberry with orange rind and a slightly chalk tinged finish . Good length with fresh well balanced , moreish finish . This is the 07/23 disgorgment , so tastes young and very lively . With enough roundness and body to stand up to food this shows very well . Drink now and over the next couple of years — 5 months ago
Celebration in a bottle — 9 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. Drappier’s “Clarevallis”, a blend of mostly Pinot Noir with Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and a dash of Pinot Blanc (Blanc vrai), pours a straw color with a persistent mousse of tiny bubbles. On the nose, the wine is developing with striking notes of ripe apples, white flowers, lemon, something that reminded me of sweet curry spice (not sure I’ve picked that up before) and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. The curry thing seems less obvious though there is a related savory note on the finish, which, is long. A very lovely aperitif. The date code suggests this was disgorged in July of 2023 but I could be reading that wrong. Regardless, drink now. — 3 months ago
